Spinosaurus’s first digit touched the ground, and Deinocheirus didn’t have one. The Spinosaurus and Deinocheirus have traditional theropod feet (the first digit is held off the ground and the other three touch the ground). No dinosaurs had claws on their fourth fingers. The Dilophosaurus’s fourth finger is too large and has a claw.Deinocheirus has a weird “elbow wing” that there is zero proof of having ever existed in anything.Note - for all of the following, there is no indication that these are not the “accurate” versions If you give the option between accurate dinosaurs and not, really what’s the point of having accurate ones?.Perhaps the developers just don’t want to let go of inaccurate dinosaurs. This is clearly an appeal to fans, who probably don’t care too much about accuracy and will probably choose what they consider cooler. This is the same reason why paleontologists got mad at Jurassic World. Why? Because even if it’s inaccurate, it’s the public perception of Spinosaurus.Example: they have a short-legged Spinosaurus, but also what is explicitly the Jurassic Park III Spinosaurus (they even reuse its roars!).They allow players to choose between accurate and inaccurate versions of prehistoric animals.Without further ado, the Mesozoica Bash Masterpost.
There’s actually a number of issues surrounding Mesozoica right now.
